Shrek 3 Plot

Der Shreken geht weiter. Jeffrey Katzenberg hat sich über den Plot von Shrek 3 geäußert, der uns im Mai 07 (2 Jahre nach Star Wars 3 ) erwartet.

"Shrek 3: It's out of the bag

London's Sun newspaper reported that Jeffrey Katzenberg gave what seems to be a full-plot synopsis for the "threequel", which is out in May 2007, during a press conference for Madagascar.
The executive producer of Shrek 2 and Shark Tale said Shrek and Princess Fiona become king and queen of Far, Far Away as the king has been transformed into a frog.

"When we left him, the King was quite literally croaking," he said.

"They're not very comfortable in these roles, so the King says to them: 'If you can find the heir to the throne and bring him back, the kingdom will be in good hands, then you can return to the swamp and live your lives."

"Shrek, Donkey and Puss go to the far side of the kingdom . . . where young 'Artie', who is the nephew of Queen Lilian, is about to graduate from school.

"Artie turns out to be young King Arthur and Shrek and Donkey and Puss have to convince this extremely rebellious young man, who uses Justin Timberlake's voice, to come back and assume the throne.

"Along the way, Shrek invents the Round Table and chivalry. Donkey is the Lady in the Lake with the sword.

"Meanwhile . . . Prince Charming decides that it's time for a coup d'etat. 'The cat's away. He will play'.

Katzenberg said Princess Fiona then organises an underground resistance movement until Shrek returns with the young King Arthur."
