XXXIII. PFF-Song-Contest "Treffen sich..."

Willkommen zum XXXIII. PFF-Song-Contest!

Überraschung: Es wird KEIN 80er- Contest!
1. will ich dieses Thema dem Lord nicht wegnehmen und
2. schneiden 80er-Titel von mir hier meist recht schlecht ab.

Nach dem besten Sänger und Gitarristen hätte man nun auch noch nach dem größten Bassisten oder Schlagzeuger fragen können. Aber wäre irgendwie langweilig.

Darum heißt der XXXIII PFF-Song-Contest
„Treffen sich ein Gitarrist, ein Bassist und ein Schlagzeuger…“

… und sagen sich: Wir brauchen mal was anderes!“

Mit anderen Worten: Wir suchen Songs, bei denen NEBEN wenigstens zwei von den drei genannten Instrumenten ein/mehrere andere(s) Instrument(e) markant zu hören ist/sind.
Es kann ein Piano sein, Violine oder ein ganzes Streicherquartett, Cello, Harfe, Mundharmonika, Saxophon, Ukulele,Trompete, Okarina, Dudelsack (Paul McCartney ist ja GSD schon durch) Waldhorn, Maultrommel, Sitar, Pferdekopfgeige und… und…und… Egal! Von mir aus sogar die Panflöte!

Es muß nicht den ganzen Song zu hören sein. Es kann auch nur im Hintergrund dabei sein. ABER es sollte dem Song doch eine besondere Note geben. Man sollte ihn sich nicht ohne vorstellen können.
Spezialfall Keybord: Ja, wenn es so einen ähnlich markanten Auftritt hat, wie in „Narcotic“ von Liquido, sonst nicht!

Was geht nicht? (Diesen Abschnitt habt Ihr im wesentlichen Mathew zu verdanken.)
- Keine Solisten, für die dieses ausgewählte Instrument typisch ist. Wer also z.B. unbedingt E. John oder B. Joel bringen will, sollte einen Song suchen, bei dem sie NICHT Piano spielen. (Das gleiche gilt für N. Kennedys Gefiedle)
- Genres, die ganz auf Ausschluß der im Contest-Titel genannten Instrumente beruhen. Also z.B. Tangerine Dream, Kraftwerk o.ä. aber auch Synthy-Pop, EBM oder andere Sparten, auf die das zutrifft, scheiden aus.
- Keine auf das gewählte Instrument getrimmten Cover von „normalen“ Songs (Also z.B. diese Metallica-Cover von Apocalyptica auf dem Cello sind raus)
Ich hoffe, ich habe ungefähr deutlich machen können, was ich meine?

Wenn nicht, freue ich mich auf eine rege öffentliche/PN- Diskussion. (Das hat mir bei meinem letzten Contest irgendwie gefehlt. ) Für gute Argumente bin ich immer offen. Und letztlich macht Ihr am Ende ja sowieso immer was Ihr wollt.

Ein letztes noch: Bei diesem Contest stand für mich von Anfang an fest, welchen Song ich bringen will.
Darum: Wenn jemand meinen Kandidaten bringt, hat er Pech gehabt! (Irgend einen Vorteil muss es ja haben, den Contest auszurichten.) Nur für den Fall, daß sich jemand wundert, wenn mein Name bei seinem abgelehnten Erstvorschlag auftauchen sollte.

Antworten auf Fragen zum Ablauf oder Bestätigungen/Ablehnungen gibt es von mir bis ca 21.30 Uhr. Danach erst wieder zwischen 5.00 und 6:00 Uhr morgens. (Ein alter Mann hat nun mal seine Schlafgewohnheiten.)

Das Übliche (Ich hoffe das einzige Plagiat im laufenden Contest):

• Sprache ist egal, es können auch reine Instrumentaltitel sein.
• Ein YouTube-Video ist Voraussetzung.
• Der Song darf nicht in einem der anderen Contests verwendet worden sein.
• Sollte der gleiche Song mehrfach eingereicht werden, zählt der Zeitpunkt des Posteingangs. Hat der Einreichende einen Ersatzsong angegeben, wird dieser angenommen.

Wann kann ich mich anmelden?

Ab Montag, dem 24.01.2022 ab 19:00 Uhr könnt ihr Eure Vorschläge einreichen.
(Ich kriege am 21.01. meinen dritten Schuss und weiß darum nicht, wie ich am Wochenende einsatzfähig bin. Ihr habt also genug Zeit, Euch einen oder besser zwei gute(n) Song(s) auszusuchen.)

Schreibt eure Nominierungen bitte NICHT in diesen Thread, sondern schickt mir eine PN mit Songtitel (Besonderheit: Nebst Instrument, weswegen ihr Ihn ausgesucht habt!), Interpret und Youtube-Link.

Teilnehmer:
Es gibt zunächst 30 Plätze, einer wird durch mich besetzt sowie einer durch Brisanzbremse, der sich seinen sicheren Startplatz zurück erobert hat.
Ein weiterer wird natürlich für Chrisionvision freigehalten, der hoffentlich auch wieder diePlaylist erstellt (Ich erreiche bei so etwas meine Stufe der Unfähigkeit.) Somit wären noch 27 Plätze frei.

Wann geht's los?

Die Nominierungen werden spätestens am 27.01.2022 gegen 20.00 Uhr veröffentlicht. (Drei Tage sollten reichen, um eine PN zu schreiben.) Von da an könnt ihr mit euren Punkten loslegen, sobald die Liste hier unter dem ersten Post zu finden ist.

Die Punkte-Vergabe erfolgt wie wie immer beim Eurovision Song Contest, es gibt die 12, 10, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 Punkt(e). Es gilt also diese Punkte auf 10 Songs aufzuteilen.
Die Punkte MÜSSEN vollständig aufgeteilt werden, sonst gibt es Strafpunkte für den eigenen Song (-12).

Die Voting-Runde endet am 31.01.2022 um 24:00 Uhr. (OK, Nachteulen bekommen eine Gnadenfrist bis zum 1. Februar 5.00 Uhr Morgens.

Wer seinen Vote zu spät abgibt bekommt Strafpunkte auf seinen eigenen Song (-12), wer gar keinen Vote abgibt bekommt die Doppelte Portion Strafpunkte (-24).

Wann gibt es die Ergebnisverkündung?

Die Auswertung in Form eines "Live-Tickers" erfolgt am Mittwoch, 02.02.2022 ab ca. 20.00 Uhr.

Konzertante Begleitung durch ein Orchester ist natürlich auch möglich. Aber es muß im Originalsong sein und nicht eine spezielle "Konzertante Aufführung".

"Night Boat to Cairo" und 'Every other Freckle' hatte ich schon aus der Richtung, aber spontan fällt mir nicht so viel ein, wo definitiv Bass und Gitarre dabei sind, aber wir haben ja etwas Zeit....

Und die erste Frage: Was ist für dich ein Bass? Laut Wikipedia fallen so einige Instrumente drunter.

Und noch eine blöde Frage: Muss ich raushören, was da gespielt wird oder kann man das irgendwo nachschauen? Ich würde mir ersteres nämlich nicht zuverlässig zutrauen (gerade was Bass und Gitarre angeht) und zu letzterem habe ich jetzt zu einem Lied was ich im Kopf hatte, nicht direkt was gefunden. Da muss ich wohl für jeden Song schauen, ob ich eine Live-Version finde um die Instrumente zu verifizieren.
Edit: Und selbst bei Live-Versionen ist nicht gegeben, dass da auch die/alle Instrumente auf der Bühne stehen....

Und wenn du nicht weisst mit was die da spielen, solltest du einen anderen Song wählen.

Ich achte nicht drauf welche Instrumente benutzt werden, nun muss ich schauen welche Lieder die drei haben plus noch ein weiteres Instrument. Leicht kompliziert, aber ich werde mal schauen was geht.

Geht mir genauso. Bei Bittersweet Symphony bspw. hätte ich die drei geforderten Instrumente nicht herausgehört.
Im Zweifelsfall Nante per PN fragen, bin gerade mit zwei potentiellen Songs in direkter Klärung.
