After a little browsing are these ones my results:
One of his earlier publications had been in: Bergmann's Haus- und Familien-Kalender 13. Jahrgang, 1912 (Bergmann's House and Family Calendar Vol. 13, 1912), edited by Verlag Bergmann, Leipzig, 40 pages, includes "Humoreske" by Otto Schendel Maybe he is born earlier? Well, he could have published at the age of 12 ... Then there is another publication: Die Biwakhühner und andere Soldatenhumoresken (The Bivouac Chickens and Other Soldier's Funny Stories / Tell-Tales) written by Alwin Römer, 96 pages, published by Ensslin & Laiblin, Reutlingen no date Well, the German Wikipedia informs about Continentale AG: Among the sourcebooks they refer to Hans Theodor Schmidt: Continental. Ein Jahrhundert Fortschritt und Leistung 1871-1971, edited by Continental-Gummi-Werke-Aktiengesellschaft, Hannover 1971 Maybe they have more data in the Continental archives ... but this tire company is much in trouble, very close to becoming broke! |
