In diesem Zusammenhang macht mich der Wikipedia-Eintrag über
Friedel Stern (1917 in Leipzig - 2006 in Tel Aviv) stutzig. Stern galt lange als einzige weibliche Comiczeichnerin in Israel und veröffentlichte 1958 ein Buch, das die Erlebnisse einer Touristin (oder eines Touristen) in Israel schildert - außerdem findet sich 1953 ein Buch über Israel in Landkarten:
