Das waren die Fragen:

1. Hi Gene, how are you?

2. You did a lot of interviews in the past, are there any questions you
haven’t been asked? Or maybe always wanted to be asked?

3. You told me your heritage was German. So where do your parents come from?

4. Have you been to Germany a lot? What places do you like best?

5. Let’s talk about your carrier. When did you start working in comic
business?

6. Are you self-trained or did you take any lessons at art school?

7. So you worked for DC and went over to Marvel, right?

8. Your style differs from other pencillers. When you did Hopalong Cassidy,
there were a lot of different angles and views that helped keeping the
stories exciting…

9. At Marvel there was even more of, let’s call it experimenting, with panel
layouts, reflections in doorknobs or puddles of water and else…

10. Who came up with the name "Adam Austin"?

11. Recently someone asked you about the Daredevil # 48 cover. Was Stan Lee
really a pain in the ass?

12. You did such a lot of Marvel Characters for quite some time, like
Sub-Mariner, Iron Man, Captain Marvel, Daredevil, Dr. Strange, Dracula,…
What was your favorite character to work with?

13. How was it working on DCs Batman?

14. You also did funny characters like Howard The Duck and Archie. What is
the difference from working on superheroes?

15. Your kind of style isn’t always an easy job for inkers. Like with
Dracula, you first tried yourself, then Vince Colletta and others. In the
end it seemed only Tom Palmer could do it right.

16. Tell us about the stolen pages (ToD # 24) and the already finished
version of the end of Tomb Of Dracula in the never released ToD # 71-72.

17. In 1991 you, Marv Wolfman, Tom Palmer, John Costanza and even Michele
Wolfman reunited to do "Tomb Of Goofula" (Goofy Adventures # 17). Whose idea
was that and how did it go?

18. In 2005 you did a Simpsons story for the Halloween issue "Treehouse Of
Horror". Was it the same team as in 1991 and what’s it all about?

19. Tom Field finally managed to get your biography "Secrets In The Shadows"
into the shops, now. There’s been a delay for quite some time. Are you
satisfied with the book? And why should your fans buy it?

Thanks a lot!

Genial ist Frage 5, im Eifer des Gefechts hab ich nach seinem "Träger" statt nach seiner "Karriere" gefragt, köstlich peinlich! Der Antwort nach hat er es aber verstanden...
