Valérian et Laureline-Verfilmung hat das Verlagshaus Humanoids (Los Angeles) einen Drei-Filme-Vertrag mit der Produktionsfirma Full House (Paris) abgeschlossen.
Humanoids-CEO Fabrice Giger und Pierre Spengler widmen sich dabei folgenden Projekten, aus denen Real-Spielfilme mit US-Schauspielern im Starring werden sollen:

Metal (nach
Métal Hurlant) - Eine 80-Millionen-Dollar-Space-Opera, Regie: John Woo.
2)
Bouncer nach der Serie von Alejandro Jodorosky und Francois Boucq: Die Produktion startet 2016. Regie: Floria Sigismondi (wurde durch David-Bowie-Musikvideos berühmt)
3)
The Zombies That Ate the World nach der Serie von Jerry Frissen, Guy Davis und Jorge Miguel.
4)
Legion nach
I am Legion von Fabien Nury und John Cassady.
Drehbuch: Richard Stanley, gedreht wird in Kolumbien.

The Humanoids slate is like a major graphic novel adaptation drive but “with an independent original feel, involving high-profile directors which can anchor their vision from an early stage in films that appeal to young audiences,” Full House’s Gael Nouaille said at Cannes.
Humanoids-Full House is planning up-to-$15 million movies; what’s original about is that it has one foot in Europe. ”That enables us to optimize soft money available and, also financing through pre-sales, significantly reduce risk exposure for backers,” he added.
