Nach dem Manga "鉄人28号" (Tetsujin 28-gō),
hier, schrieb Mamoru Oshii ein Theaterstück, das 2009 in Tokyo und Osaka unter der Regie von Norihiko Morishita aufgeführt wurde.

TETSUJIN 28-GÔ is not the most incredible play in history (no fantastic special effects, even the giant robot almost doesn´t move at all), but it´s very original, it has its own soul and one or two scenes are almost magical (the one with the puppet). Zu dem Theaterstück existiert auch ein "Making Of", das allerdings überwiegend inszeniert ist: "28 1/2 妄想の巨人" (28 1/2 - Mōsō no kyojin). Regie, wer sonst: Mamoru Oshii.

Oshii Mamoru could not simply direct a making-of. ... It starts like a making-of, with a press conference, the rehearsals, the real staff and cast ... but everyone plays a role.
