World Illustrators Award (W!A) 2015
(1973 wurde der gemeinnützige Verband Association of Illustrators (AOI) gegründet, zu dessen illustren Mitgliedern unter anderem Ralph Steadman, Sir Quentin Blake, Shirley Hughes und Raymond Briggs zählen. In diesem Jahr verleiht die AOI den W!A in Kooperation mit dem US-amerikanischen Verband Directory of Illustration. Wer es in die Shortlist geschafft hat, dessen Einreichung wird einerseits online gestellt, andererseits können die Werke im prestigeträchtigen Somerset House (Terrace Roioms) im Herzen Londons besichtigt werden, danach folgt eine Tournee durch Galerien im Vereinigten Königreich. Durchschnittlich besuchen 40.000 Gäste pro Jahr diese Ausstellungen, außerdem wird ein Katalog am Ende der Tournee veröffentlicht.
