Seit 1960 findet in Annecy das weltweit wohl bedeutendste Filmfestival für Animationsfilme statt. In 2010 (7. - 12.6.) laufen folgende Langfilme im Wettbewerb:
- Allez raconte ! von Jean-Christophe ROGER
- Fantastic Mr. Fox von Wes ANDERSON
- Kerity la maison des contes von Dominique MONFERY
- Metropia von Tarik SALEH
- One Piece Film: Strong World von Munehisa SAKAI
- Piercing 1 von Jian LIU
- Summer Wars von Mamoru HOSODA
Drei europäische, drei asiatische und ein amerikanischer Film also. Mich persönlich würden besonders "Metropia" und "Piercing 1" interessieren. Auf der Webseite des Festivals heißt es zum Inhalt des Films "Metropia":
