Die Comicfassung der "Allgemeinen Geschäftsbedingungen" von iTunes (Apple) lief ursprünglich als
Webcomic auf der Tumblr-Seite von R. Sikoryak. Die englischsprachige Fassung des Apple-Kundenvertrags besteht aus den vier Teilen A bis D und umfaßt hundert Seiten. 2015 erschien eine Printausgabe der Comics zu A und B (35 Seiten) im Selbstverlag.

For Sikoryak, the sheer banality of the text allows him to play with – and celebrate – comics as a medium for visual storytelling. That the artwork can create subtle shifts in tone and mood when paired with a text that is the very opposite of engaging, is a remarkable experiment in how we read comics and what we get from them. And if you get to the end of the book, well, you’ll finally know what you’ve signed up to.

Sikoryak hat schon in den 1980er mit seiner Technik begonnen, seine Werke aus Zitaten zu basteln (Bricolege / Mashup). Hier
kombiniert er Ultrakurzfassungen von Klassikern der Weltliteratur (wie MogaMobos
100 Meisterwerke der Weltliteratur) mit diversen Comics.

Furthermore, Sikoryak's conceit, drawing literary classics in styles imitative of comics classics, is an argument against comics as "low" art by giving Little Lulu and The Scarlet Letter equal weight. Sikoryak began this project in the '80s, when it was ahead of its time; its commercial and critical success show that the zeitgeist has caught up with it.
I had especially admired "Good ol' Gregor Brown," in which Sikoryak fuses Kafka's "The Metamorphosis" with Charles Schulz' Peanuts, before its collection here.
